Microsoft Commercial
Well unless your living under a rock, you’ve heard about the new Microsoft $300 million dollar campaign to bring a better image to Microsoft. I think everyone was expecting an Apple attack add and that’s why the commercial has been met with such negative critical review. I think if we were living in a world where the "I’m a Mac/I’m a PC" ads didn’t exist there would be more curiosity about this commercial than bashing. Critics and reviewers have come at this commercial from every angle, from the idea that it has double hidden meaning, to the idea that there are racist undertones about poor people and how they are outside looking in on the world of technology.
The one thing in all this that is clear, with all the chatter and all the over analysis Microsoft has garnered our attention for the moment and everyone is waiting to see what will come next. Isn’t that the greatest kind of advertising?
